“We’re heavily focused on delivering products to our customers, so having reliable trucks on the road is essential. I can’t say enough good things about Mack Trucks—they’ve been great for us. We experience minimal downtime, and they’re simply solid, well-built trucks"
– Dave Kletti, Head Mechanic at E.H. Wolf & Sons
For more than 80 years, E.H. Wolf & Sons has been a trusted name in fuel and lubricant distribution across Wisconsin. With locations in Slinger, Waukesha, Oconomowoc and Green Bay, the company has remained family-owned since its founding in 1941. What began with Roy Wolf, a Standard Oil agent, has now grown into a fourth-generation legacy, guided by the principle: “Do what we say and say what we do.”
Craig Wolf and Colette Troeller took the reins in 2005, marking the company’s third generation of leadership. In 2019, Craig’s son, Ethan Wolf, and Colette’s daughter, Holly Lemmer, officially became fourth-generation owners.
Through a strong partnership with Kriete Truck Centers, E.H. Wolf has expanded its Mack Trucks fleet beyond its initial 2007 purchase to include the Mack Granite® and Anthem® Day Cabs. To meet bulk petroleum transportation and delivery needs, E.H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. relies on its sister company, M.A. Wolf Trucking, Inc. to provide skilled transport drivers ensure safe and timely delivery of every product.
These Mack Trucks provide maximum efficiency, integrated engineering, and unmatched durability along with being optimized specially for E.H. Wolf for weight savings. The lighter the truck, the more product they can haul—an essential factor in maximizing deliveries.
“It is good to have someone that you can talk to, and they understand what we do and what we're looking for. Kriete has been a great partner to us.”
– Ethan Wolf, Owner of E.H. Wolf & Sons
UNMATCHED DURABILITY
Dave Kletti, head mechanic at E.H. Wolf is the company’s expert when it comes to their Mack Trucks. His tech skills were recently recognized when he earned the top spot at the Wisconsin Truck Technician Competition, hosted by the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association. Competing against 15 highly skilled technicians, Dave secured first place.
“One thing I always like to point out is that on a Mack truck, when you close the door, it doesn't matter if it's brand new or 10 years old—it closes exactly the same. To me, that’s a big deal. That tells me the truck is built solid."

MAXIMUM BENEFITS
For a company that transports liquid products, weight optimization plays a significant role. “We’ve done a lot of things to lower the tail weight of our trucks, and Andy [from Kriete] has helped with that,” Dave explains. “This has made our trucks universal in that a tractor can pull a tank trailer or a dry van, and they all fit in our fleet.”
Reliability has been another major advantage for the E.H. Wolf team. “To date with the company, I have had zero issues or breakdowns related to the truck side,” said Brennan Schellpfeffer, E.H. Wolf’s Safety Trainer.
As the next generation steps into leadership, E.H. Wolf & Sons remains committed to quality, efficiency, and its strong family values—especially its dedication to the community. As a founding partner of the World’s Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Wisconsin, E.H. Wolf helps raise funds and awareness for individuals with intellectual disabilities while also supporting America’s truckers. Kriete Truck Centers not only partners with E.H. Wolf in business but also stands alongside them in giving back, working together to support the Wisconsin community in meaningful ways. “It’s a great charity that gives back and gives these kids the chance to ride in a semitruck,” said Ethan. “It’s about being there to support them and showing them that we’re all cheering for them.”
