For over a century, Carr Valley Cheese has been a cornerstone of Wisconsin’s cheesemaking tradition. Nestled in the lush pastures of central Wisconsin and owned by the Cook family, this award-winning cheese company continues the tradition of making cheese the old-fashioned way—by hand. Under the leadership of Sid Cook, a fourth generation cheesemaker who grew up in the family cheese business, the company today makes over a hundred different dairy products that are sold throughout their seven retail stores in Wisconsin and distributed throughout the United States.

To support the company’s production and distribution, Carr Valley relies on Mack Trucks and Hino to handle the complex logistics of their operations. From collecting milk to delivering cheese to their seven retail locations, Carr Valley needs trucks that are versatile, reliable, and efficient. Carr Valley’s operations require a variety of vehicles—large refrigerated trucks to transport products between their four manufacturing plants and distribution warehouses, and smaller trucks for direct delivery to their stores.
