Special Olympics Truck Convoy September 2019
The Worlds Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics is a national one-day celebration of the trucking industry. Its allied partners and law enforcement work together to raise funds for Special Olympics.
Wisconsin’s law enforcement officers escort the Convoy of over 190 trucks from the Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield and travel north on Interstate 41 to the EAA Grounds in Oshkosh.
For three consecutive years, the Kriete Group has been a proud sponsor and participant in this event, but this year we wanted to make a big splash to help these athletes.
With participation from three of our Kriete Truck Centers, Kriete Leasing & Rental, Milk Specialties, Condon Companies, Gallitz Grading, Bud’s Soil & Grading Services LLC, and Pfister Bulk Transit, we drove down the highway showing off Mack, Volvo, and Hino trucks.
Representing our pride in the Special Olympics mission, we had a Kriete Leasing & Rental Hino 268A Box Truck wrapped with unique graphics and a shout out to the Truck Convoy.
Plus we spent time with the kids building a Lego Mack Anthem, among other lego sets. All in all, we think the kids and families all had a great day seeing these big trucks up close and personal.
We look forward to participating in this great event next year!
