Road America 2020 Summer/Fall Racing Events - Official Vehicle Recovery Partner
Summer racing is officially on at Road America! If you’re ready for some fast paced, adrenal car racing excitement, come up to Elhart Lake, WI this summer starting June 12th for their kickoff event WeatherTech Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints. The world’s best racers have competed at this legendary four-mile, 14-turn road circuit for over 60 years, and there’s no stopping them any time soon.
We are especially excited this year because Kriete Truck Center – Sheboygan and our Hino Truck is the Official Recovery Vehicle Partner of Road America for the entire 2020 summer race season!
Road America is located just north of Milwaukee, WI, only 18 miles from Whistling Straits Golf Course and midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay in Elkhart Lake. And Kriete Truck Center – Sheboygan is not far away, just off I-43 on S Taylor Dr.

In preparation for their continued growth, Road America has updated many ground amenities this year including their concession stands, adding additional vendor spots and adding new sanitizing to their onsite high-touch common areas (like ticketing, concessions, bathrooms, and Paddock shop) with added protection such as sneeze guards, customer disinfecting wipes, personal care products. Road America is dedicated along with their partners Guy & O’Neill Inc and CTECH Manufacturing on keeping the surfaces clean and safe for all guests this summer and fall.
If your’e interested in visiting the grounds for more than just a day, spectators can camp on the Road America grounds, too! Many of the racing teams bring along their families and teams to stay in the well equipped park-like grounds, affectionately known as ‘America’s National Park of Speed’. The park is 640-acres that offers family style cabins, motorhome hookups, general camping and more luxurious and modern camping called “glamping” which this year is available for spectators to stay on site as well.
In the event that any racing team needs work while at the events, Kriete Group is there. We will be able to provide service work on all RVs, motorhomes and coaches for teams and spectators on site to make sure no one misses an event and provide comfort that the vehicles will be up and running as quickly as possible.
Road America is more than just a racetrack, they offer a range of programs and adventures for the whole family beyond the racing, including disc golf, movie nights, track days, public karting, and more.
