Kriete Truck Centers Acquires Scaffidi Trucks
KRIETE TRUCK CENTERS ACQUIRES SCAFFIDI TRUCKS IN STEVENS POINT AND TOMAHAWK, WISCONSIN
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — On January 1, 2021, Kriete Truck Centers, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, will officially acquire Scaffidi Truck Centers, a 50+ year-old Mack Truck dealer headquartered in Stevens Point, WI with a second location in Tomahawk, WI. This merger continues Kriete’s strategic growth initiative to serve and support the heavy- and medium-duty truck industry throughout Wisconsin and the upper Midwest.

Kriete Truck Centers celebrates its 70th year in operation in 2021, making it one of the oldest Mack Truck distribution points in the dealer network. Originally founded in 1951 by Henry Kriete, a VP with Mack Trucks, Inc. in the 1930s and 40s, then known as Milwaukee Mack has grown to be one of the largest Mack distributors in the World. Following the acquisition, the dealership group will inventory roughly $20M of aftermarket parts on-hand, offer three commercial Body shops including two state-of-the-art industrial-sized paint booths, and over 250 factory- trained technicians between its ten dealership rooftops. Kriete can completely support the entire medium- and heavy-duty truck industry throughout Wisconsin.
