Avalon Express Fleet Adds Ten Volvo VNL 760’s and Seventeen VNR 300’s

Avalon Express is a 60 truck fleet and growing with truck drop yards in La Crosse & Mauston. Part of their truck fleet is dedicated to U-Line, moving just-in-time inventory from warehouse locations to distribution points. The owner, David Olson, reached out to us at Kriete Truck Center – La Crosse last summer about new trucks. He was impressed with the level of service he had been getting for his trucks at Kriete Truck Center – Racine, so he knew that he was dealing with a “strong organization with a good culture.” 

In September, they decided to add 10 new VNL 760’s, followed by another 17 VNR 300’s at the end of December when this picture was taken. All these trucks came from Kriete Truck Centers’ new truck inventory, so they were on the ground and ready to start hauling. Kriete Truck Center – La Crosse has committed to this relationship with dedicated parts delivery to their facility & dealer sponsored fleet warranty, hopefully solidifying the relationship for years to come.

These Volvo trucks will be versatile additions to their fleet. The  VNL 760 will provide long haul efficiency, while the VNR 300 will be an excellent complement for all regional haul needs.
